Hi, " the ferry boat which operates is quite new " Have you somes pic or infos about these "new" , especialy about toilets and bathroom? I've seen some pictures some years ago: very ugly! Plus time to wait in Baku, so I've choosed to drive around Caspian sea, via Astrakhan. But if things have change...

I'm going soon to seek in my travel reports…but not a big problem in Taskent, Samarcand, Khiva, Bukarah, very touristic towns.

Yes , there are some, but not a lot and you can manage it with "2 wheels going" and/or with a lilttle help from your friands.

Hi, I've done it in 2015 and 2018 with my wheelchair. Not a big problem to find accessible hotels, you just have to choose better ones (more expensive). Idem for restaurants. The main problem is to find toilets during the day, for me not a big problem , I'm travelling with a Land Rover Defender, so ...

Hi,
I've done it in 2015, the road in Kaz 50km before border is a nightmare!
In Russia towards Georgia almost good roads, beware of cops.
May be changes hace occurs since then.

And expect very very very long wait if you try to cross this border the day of re-opening.
Last year we waited 11 h on mongolian side, just to control almost 50 cars, an big shame
