Just a warning /heads up to campers out there!
My sister and I have had all our camping gear and bags stolen from a national park last week. We had our tent set up in the national park near turgen (east of Almaty), hidden from the road. We went for a walk and came back to an empty camp site. The tent and all our gear was gone except for a bottle of honey and one tent peg! We have since heard of the same thing happening to someone else as well.
So, be extra careful! And if anyone sees an abandoned tent or some red bike panniers..
