Internet data on Pamir highway

Am I crazy? I always like to have internet data when travelling in case something goes wrong. I've read there are 4 phone companies that service Tajikistan. Tcell being the most prominent in Dushanbe. Has anyone experienced which company is best for internet data on the Pamir highway? Or which companies definitely don't get service there? Thank you

True that. I've been on the road for a while so have decent battery packs. But the former question still remains. It must be a mystery...

So, this is still interesting, which company provides the best internet on the Pamir Highway? Locals say: get 4 sim cards. I had Megafon last month, good deal (I believe we paid around 10 euro), used internet for 3 weeks as much as we wanted and had connection at decent speed everywhere. We did not go into Pamir though.

Just used Megafon: has reception in Murgab and Alichur. Internet is very slow and not allways on. Power is a problem. According to locals megafon has the widest coverage in the pamir.

Yes, especially in eastern Pamirs Megafon is the best. You have an antenna even at Karakul, Rangkul and Shaymak.

I am doing a motorcycle tour out of Kashgar in a coupl eof weeks, travelling the Pamir highway through Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and back to Kashgar.
Is there mobile data available in these areas, if so who is the best supplier
