Oqsaroy: The White Palace. For 25 years, this was the place from where Uzbekistan was ruled. Death sentences were issued here for humans, ecosystems and the economy.

And thus you can visit. When we came to have a look (September 2017), the museum had just been officially opened, but ordinary folk were not allowed in yet. The guards told us:”Maybe next year.”
So do let us know if you get in. We’d be very interested to see what kind of exhibition the museum might hold.
If the museum is closed, the only thing you can do is amble in the park (not too far!) and take a selfie with the golden statue of Karimov, Islam.
