Re: Coronavirus border closures
Well, that’s it...that’s my Central Asia trip called off. At the last possible minute as when I heard the news I was literally in the queue to board the flight from Budapest to Nur-Sultan this afternoon, from what I could see still departed as normally (so I would have got into Kazakhstan, but not b...

Re: Visit Azerbaijan after visiting Armenia with a USA passport
From experience, I had no problems at all in December 2017 arriving at Baku Airport with a November 2016 stamp for Armenia. No questions, just happily stamped in.
Visiting Nagorno-Karabakh as mentioned would completely disallow entry to Azerbaijan.

Re: Tajikistan closes borders to citizens of 35 countries (coronavirus)

Re: "Foreigners arriving from countries with coronavirus can not enter Kyrgyzstan"
Both articles seem to just mention China, Japan, South Korea, Iran and Italy - I got a bit worried from the headline wording that it was all countries with even just one case, which means I’ll hopefully be ok with my British/Irish citizenship when I arrive there in a few weeks.

Re: Corona virus border closures
Pegasus cancelled my flights to Tehran via Istanbul this morning, I was meant to fly out on Sunday. Means my Central Asia trip will be missing a country, but my Iran visa is valid until early May at least and I still have Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan planned.

Re: Coronavirus Monitoring
That is astonishing, and a huge amount of countries and potential tourists are affected by this. The UK are currently on nine cases, so one more and they'll receive the same treatment. I'll be flying to Nur-Sultan from Budapest next month on either my British or Irish passport. Happily there are no ...

Re: Bishkek to Tashkent bus?
Anyone know if this is likely to be running as usual during Nowruz, and if tickets can still be easily bought a few days before departure? Planning to go Tashkent-Bishkek.

Re: Iran e-visa system
Irish citizen in London here! Visited the London consulate last month as my evisa application had been stuck on a 'Waiting for Verification' message for over two weeks. Was pleasantly surprised when they told me they could sort that out there and then! Filled out a paper form and gave them my passpo...
