Kam Air flights are cancelled more often than they operate. And they're late by many hours when they run at all. Not a great option unless you have lots of time to kill.

I’ve read some reports that land border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan is open. Some travelers have crossed successfully in the past few months.

According to my info, the land borders are not open, yet. So maybe only mild optimism for now.

True. Air travel will re-open first. Land borders may take sometime. I also plan to cross the border from Iran to Turkmenistan in late May/early June, but I may fly there.

Another tour agency confirmed that this information has been announced unofficially and they can process the LOI immediately.
