Re: Beer in Dushanbe
Here's one comment I got:
Sim-Sim across the river is connected to the Sim-Sim brand. The beer tastes different every single time. I think Pivzavod by victory park was shut down. All else are imitation Euro/English pubs selling imported beer and serving expats and rich locals.

Re: Armenia Invitation letter
Hi travellove,
I wish I could help you. I have e-mailed every tour agency in Armenia, and even a law firm. None was willing to help. If you find someone, do let me know.
I personally cannot help you.

Re: Mongolia visa in Saudi Arab
Have a look at https://caravanistan.com/visa/mongolia for the general application procedure.
You can fly from Mongolia to Kyrgyzstan, probably with a transit in China will be easiest.

Re: Travel safety in Iraqi Kurdistan?
Decided to start this thread after reading this article about the return of ISIS. Since Iraqi Kurdistan has been considered pretty safe for travelers over the past few years, this may be changing once more.

Re: Fann Mtns or Yagnob Valley?
For day hikes, you can do the 7 lakes near Penjikent and a hike around Iskanderkul. Everything else in Fann mountains or Yaghnob requires tents and overnighting.
