During our crossing A couple of days ago we heard the tashanta/tasgaanuur boarder (russia -mongolia) is closed from the 8th until wedsnesday 12th. Very long So hard to belief but thats what they told us at both sides.

We found diesel in torktkul but quality was very poor, not entirely sure if that caused our fuel pump to breakdown but might be.
However we had A spare and in small town Guzor on our Way to Denau we found A mechanic who put it in. Not So remarkable but the fact he spoke dutch (!) was. Great adventure

we also took loads of extra diesel from Iran into turkmenistan, and out of turkmenistan to Uzbekistan. No problem at all, although a very throrough boarder check leaving Turkmenistan and entering Uzbekistan.
Found new diesel in Tortkol at a gasstation.
