Thanks for the information. When you entered Kurdish Iraq, you got a 30 day permit on arrival at the border?
Maybe you didn't notice, being on a bus at night, but I was just wondering about road conditions, as I'll be cycling.

I'm hoping to go through by bike, from Turkey and afterwards to Iran.

If you can get the Pakistan visa in Iran, it's only for travelling directly from Iran to Pakistan, no? It's not a visa you can use later to enter Pakistan from China?
