At Almaty airport got a Beeline number, showed passport all was fine (except the shop assistant not speaking english, but that's another story)

Landed and left the country in Almaty. They told me at landing that I didn't need to register, but only to keep migration card.
At departure no hassles, got passport stamped and left.

Thanks, Almaty to Astana probably the best thing is to fly, since price/time wise would be the best option.
If I had more time I would taken those long train rides, but I have to go back to the job that pays the trip...

Any news about international driving license, especially about Kazakhstan?
