If you've paid but don't get any sort determination (ie approval or rejection), be sure to file a chargeback on your credit card. That should get the Uzbeks' attention.

Sounds like you got further than I did. How did you make it through the CAPTCHA? Any particular configuration of browser and photo sizes work better than others? Edit: Thanks for your useful updates.
