Re: Border crossings reports Georgia-Armenia

Bavra crossing : The road is really difficult on the Georgian part for few km. It is rideable but it takes more time than usual. We were on bicycle and we rode at the same speed as trucks.

Re: Posof (TR) - Vale (GEO): border crossing reports

We crossed today from Georgia to Turkey. We had our passport in Georgia but we wanted to enter Turkey with our swiss identity card. They refused to accept our ID card. I argued a lot but they asked our passport or we had to go back to Georgia. We didn't want the stamp as it could be more difficult t...

Also, we were asked how much cash we had to travel. 1000€/p is ok for them but they don't like if you say 600€ for a month. Re: Simcards for foreigners in Iran: Q&A

I just bought a sim card at Teheran airport. 6$ for 30 days, 5Go and 4h call with Irancell.
It took about 60seconds to have it done and 20min activation. You need to show your passport.

We had to pay by WeChat, Alipay or domestic bank card.
Hopefully one officer is doing this job with his hown card. (Or you find someone to pay for you).
They also give a WeChat official account for questions regarding visa : 昆明出入境
