Re: Uzbekistan > Turkmenistan: sleeping between the borders?

Hi, thanks for the answer! So, we already crossed it the standard way and I cannot imagine how could someone sleep between the borders. Uzbekistan > Turkmenistan: sleeping between the borders?

Hello. I will cross from Khiva to Dashogus in a few days.

I read in another forum that a guy slept between the Uzbek and Turkmen borders. Does anyone know how this works??

Thanks!

Just a comment about the Uzbek arrival visa. As an italian citiezen, I read all around internet/lonely planet that I didn't need a LOI and that I could get a visa on arrival at the Airport of Tashkent. So I assembled both informations and went there with nothing. It turned out that if you want an ar...

Re: Visas for Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran on the road

Hello, I am in Bishkek at the moment, willing to get an iranian visa. I read in the comments above that if I get the LOI here from Parsia Travel they will ask for a copy of the travel insurrance. Is it really necessary to have a travel insurrance? Without one I can't get the LOI? This requirement is...
