You can also take a taxi to the closest border crossing from Tbilisi. It would take about 1 hour to that border with taxi

Border crossing was fine. Uzbek side was done on the train at a stop. Tajik side was done on the move.

@steven : I did contact Nasser Khan. There are no direct buss from Tabriz - Arbil. Only from Urmia
