The Moscow embassy accepts applications from nationals of third countries for tourist and transit visas. Does anyone know if an appointment is needed for visa pickup in Baku? I was told I would be able to pick up my transit visa there after two weeks when I applied in Moscow but I want given any particular documents to present there.

I was just looking at the schedules and noticed that there is going to be a world cup qualifying day on one of the days I'm planning to be in Ashgabat on my transit visa. Does anyone have any idea how one would get a ticket or find out how to get a ticket?

I was told over the phone that applications for transit visas are only accepted for nationals of Germany, Poland, Denmark, and maybe one other country that I don't remember. They didn't mention whether permanent resident visas are sufficient but I was not able to apply as an American/Israeli student...

The embassy of Turkmenistan in Belarus will only process visa applications for citizens of Belarus, Lithuania, Lativa and Estonia in addition to those with permanent residence in those countries.
