And what would be the way to get one? We arrive in Osh on Sunday and in the evening we would arrive at the Tajik NE border

Russian citizens do not require a visa to enter Tajikistan but I couldn't find info on whether the GBAO permit is needed. Does anyone know, and if yes where to get one online? The internet sites that I have seen always sell the GBAO together with a visa, never only the GBAO permit.

Any news about Bartang Valley road (from Karakol lake to Rushan) condition? Is passable for 4x4 car? Planning to go in the beginning of Sept 2019, driving a Toyota LC. If doable , how may days should it take?
