There are direct trains from Russia to Dushanbe, but these trains don't take passengers getting on or off in Uzbekistan. In 2014 I did it the other way, from Georgia to Abkhazia to Russia. That was no problem, but I haven't tried to enter Georgia agian with the same passport. And of course this is the easier direction.
