I see it's on OSM as well, that's a good sign. On the other, I do seem to notice a type of gate on the lower entrance to the road? I guess you will just have to go and check it out for yourself, or maybe ask some locals when you are in the neighbourhood.

Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey are open at the moment, and will probably remain so if the virus numbers allow for it. I think Russia is open as well? Not sure. Every other country: my personal guess is that they won't reopen before late 2021. That is of course, just a guess. I am also in wait and...
