I did get a double entry visa, no problem. You can apply for your second as soon as your first visa is scanned upon entering the country. I received mine without problem. Mazar is probably the safest place in Afghanistan to go now

After 2 weeks of in Uzbekistan now so far the registration has been far less of an issue as we thought. When we left Tajikistan the end of august, locals told us it would be around 20 - 25 usd.

We crossed a week ago from Tajik to Kyrgz and it was a very easy process. They did not search our car or anything, we had to pay 10 usd for the car and in Kyrgyz side 15 usd. No bribes and no eco tax of 1000 somoni. Quite an easy process.
