Re: Pakistan e-visa and VOA Q&A

So, looks like the official e-visa site has been released. https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/ Currently only five countries can get it, but it says they will be adding more countries soon. For tourist visa, it looks like you can provide hotel bookings instead of a LOI (If I'm understanding it properly). I j...

Re: HELP: Pakistan Visa: How long is it valid?!?

Pretty sure the embassy just gave you the standard 3 month validity; meaning that you can enter Pakistan any time BEFORE May 27th.

So you may need to apply for a new visa :/

Re: Pakistan High Commission Ottawa LOI Tourist Visa

Got my visa! I submitted my application on a Friday morning and received a call on Monday saying it was ready to be picked up. Only 1 business day processing time!

Cost was $105 CAD (they take credit card). Got a 30-day visa with 3-month validity (what I applied for).

Re: Pakistan High Commission Ottawa LOI Tourist Visa

I'm going in again today... I went last week, but instead of having me bring in a printed copy of the LOI or have me email them a copy, they wanted the LOI provider to email them a copy. So I did that, and now they've told me I can come in again and apply. Takes a while to figure anything out, as th...

Re: Enter Before - Chinese Visa

No, you don't need to activate it, it's a valid visa. You can enter China as many times as you want from now until February 2029, and each visit must be no longer than the 'days per entry' on your visa.

Re: Pakistan High Commission Ottawa LOI Tourist Visa

What exactly did they say when you called them? I tried calling today to confirm that my emailed photocopy LOI would be fine, but the lady seemed confused and said that she 'thinks' the original copy is required. Pretty frustrating how hard it is to get a real answer. The lady kept talking about how...

Re: Pakistan High Commission Ottawa LOI Tourist Visa

Hey Shawn, what a coincidence - I'm in the exact same situation right now. I emailed the HC and they said the same thing, that an emailed copy of the LOI would be fine. I sent a follow-up asking about any other documents, but I haven't heard back. I have my email copy LOI right now, so if I can I'm ...

Re: New Pakistan E-Visa Process

I'm in a similar situation. Planning a visit in May, and unfortunately there's no info on when the new system will be implemented.
I asked my local embassy, and they recommended applying for a visa to be safe, as even they had no idea.

Re: Pakistan e-visa Q&A

Hope they provide some more info on the e-visa system soon. Planning a visit this May but feel like I'm gonna have to go through the current visa process anyways, I doubt they'll have the new system in place that quickly.
