NOO, its all free of charge, sometimes they tried but not anoying at all, you get 3 free nights sleeping on a dirty floor or matrass !!

The Baluchistan crossing is i think worse then ever. It started very well. i am currently in bandar abbas and crossing taftan border in 2 days and in a couple of weeks going through wagah-border into India, dont had any real problems, the usual paperwork and visa-costs. Depends also a little what pasport you have !! Will keep you updated !!

i was rejected from the e-visa on 30th august. Mailed TAP-persia on 14th septmeber, had some minor issues as the itinirary, and my pasport-foto wasnt as it should be, they applied it on 18th and on 21th i had my e-visain my e-mail. I had a silimar problem with the governements website, after exact 30 days i was denied the visa, then i contacted TAPersia, and it was done in a week, kosted about 30 euros (plus 75 euros to pay in Erzurum).

And surprisingly i get my evisa today, 6 days waiting, 100 US for the LOI and 90 EURO for Ivisa-service. All by all, not cheap but good service. TRied to do myself, always errors in the system.
Will be at Taftan-border in about a week i think depending how lazy will be my driving next days.

Thanks Rebecca, i also used Lost horizons for the LOI, it was after payement (100 US) done in 36 hours. Now waiting for my visa, i am on day nr 6, curious what time it will take before i can go to TAFTAN border . . .
