When are you planning to come? How long would you like to trek for?

There are definitely better options with equally beautiful scenery where you can find others and have a lower price.

But this year not so many people will travel to Kyrgyzstan so finding others will not be so easy.

The Tourism Ambassador is imo more reliable than the German Foreign Office in this case. No certainties of course, but this is the message I have gotten from all sides of Uzbek Tourism: free to come with PCR test.

I know some Tajik Pamiri guides who guide hiking and climbing trips in the Afghan Wakhan, so that's definitely not an issue. I don't see the problem with having a Tajik driver either, but I will ask one of them what they normally do for tours.

I don't believe there has been anything approaching herd immunity in the region.
