Spaces may become available if someone cancels their trip, I guess - but how likely this is, I have no idea. But the Sharq train at 16:08 (-> 22:32) is a decent option. There are currently 10 seats left.

Re: Aktau to Nukus by train
Huh - why should you be? The land borders are open for everyone with suitable documents (plus possibly visas). Please Please back up your claim with evidence to support it…

Re: Aktau to Nukus by train
I don't quite understand where the problem is... There are 4-6 daily trains from Aktau to Beyneu. The 111Х (every second day) is the fastest and takes 6 hours and 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought in advance - e.g. via tickets.kz, or the official website of Kazakh railways. Then you have to wait a f...

Re: Custom Declaration on TRAINS in OZ/TJ/KZ
Isn’t there a train from Bishkek to Novosibirsk that stops in Almaty? As far as I know, it leaves every 8 days and takes 14 hours. I’d be happy to take that train instead of a bus/marshrutka…

https://pass.rw.by does not list any direct connections at the moment. Yes, the early morning one seems to be the only train from Beyneu running...

Re: Transit visum Turkemenistan
Why don't you have a look at the relevant page on Caravanistan? https://caravanistan.com/visa/turkmenistan/
But all of this is irrelevant as long as the country is closed - and who knows what's going to change once/if it reopens.

Re: Wheelchair access in Uzbekistan
I'm not speaking from experience, but the Afrosiyob trains appear to be wheelchair-accessible: "All conditions for disabled people are also provided in the carriages. In the 3rd carriage of the train there is a place with a secure anchorage for wheelchairs. The seat is equipped with a button to call...

Re: Dual citizen switching between passports at Uzbekistan / Tajikistan land border?
Just out of curiosity, not because I know better...: What is wrong with showing the exit stamp in the other passport? As long as you have a passport that gives you visa-free access to the country, the border guard shouldn't mind? Or am I being naive here? Sebastian PS: There are a few threads that a...

Re: Tashkent to Dushanbe train seems to be running
http://pass.rw.by/en allows you to search for "any day" and is not geoblocked, so I was very happy to discover it here in a previous post. I didn't find anything about infos relating to railway companies, though...
