Tashkent to Dushanbe

Post by HerGr »

Hello!

I am trying to arrange a transfer from Tashkent to Dushanbe around mid August. I have read about a train departing each Tuesday but I do not seem to be able to find it neither on the uzbeki railway site nor on 12go.

Does any of you know of this train?

Thank you!

You can buy tickets at the ticket counter in Tashkent (or at any railway ticket counter in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyztan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan). You can check available berths at pass.rw.by if you understand basic Russian (but do not book there as you'd get a voucher which you need to exchange for a physical ticket in Belarus). Kupe may sell out in advance as there is only one car, Platskart is very unlikely to sell out (e.g. for the train next tuesday, there are 6 free berths in kupe and 288 free berths in platskart right now).

No. This train has no electronic registration so you need a paper ticket to board.
