is there anyway to buy a kazakh train ticket a couple days in advance in bishkek? id like to buy an almaty to aktau or a bishkek to aktau ticket (if that exists) in cash in bishkek either directly or through some agency. any advice?

Anyone with a credit card issued in CIS countries can buy Kazakh train tickets online.

You can buy it on the uzbekistan railway homepage, but I was not able to pay it with my mastercard. Simply didn't work.
