Khiva-Bukhara train via Turkmenistan?

Hi!

I've booked the Khiva-Bukhara train tomorrow (26 Sept), which continues to Tashkent (dep 1428, are 2233, train 056>|<).

I assumed it stayed inside Uzbekistan but I've just put it in on Google maps and it shows the train running inside Turkmenistan for most the way. There are no stops between Urgench and Bukhara other than Khaxarap (Uz).

Can anyone tell me if this does go into Turkmenistan and/or if it's a problem. Do the Turkmen insist on a transit visa or ignore it's presence?

I don't want to be thrown off the train at the border (or spend 7 hours in a shared taxi).

Google Maps is wrong. They built a new railway line that does not go through Turkmenistan. You are fine.
