E-ticket from Nukus to Actau

Hi, Has anyone had experience buying an e-ticket from Nukus to Actau using websites like tickets.rz or rzd? We want to buy a ticket online, but it says we have to pick up any tickets from Kazakhstan? Do we have to buy it from the station in Uzbekistan?

Yes, that would be the best way to do it. I do not think it is possible just yet to book it online.

Not sure about international tickets, but http://eticket.railway.uz/?lang=en (only answers to Uzbek IPs) allowed booking national tickets and paying by phone credit via your local SIM this summer. It seemed quite unstable though (we got occasional errors and blank screens in the process even though we got to the last step eventually) - so we opted for the personal experience. I do not remember if you were supposed to print the tickets or just show them on the phone (like in Russia). Anyways, may be worth a try!

If you buy a ticket for an Uzbek train online from Russian Railways you will have to pick up the booked ticket at any train station in RUSSIA before (at the ticket office or ticket machine)....
