Hi,
I plan to go from Tashkent to Bishkek at 14th March. Since there is still no info about the direct train, I'm looking for alternatives. Instead of using the direct overnight bus, I would prefer to go by train as far as possible and change there to a bus / marshrutka. The closest places the Tashkent - Kazakhstan trains get to Kyrgyzstan seem to be Taraz, Lugovaya and Shu. Where is the best option to get off the train and get a good connection to marshrutkas to Bishkek?
Thank you in advance!

Re: (?) Tashkent - Bishkek in March
Shu would be the quickest. Get a bus to Korday/Almaty then cross the border at Korday and take another minibus to Bishkek.
I don't know what kind of frequency of buses there is going from Shu.
The easy way would be to visit Almaty first for a few days, then take a bus to Bishkek.
