Air Astana - booking flights

Hi all

I am trying to book a flight on Air Astana from Astana to Almaty. Is it common to have problems booking online? I have tried three different cards now. All have money on them and none are locked or restricted in such a way that the booking should be blocked. It keeps saying "Error" however does not stipulate what the error is. I get the security code from my bank on my phone, but it doesn't book.

I have found a whatsapp contact on the Air Astana website and am hoping someone will reply at some point.

Would anyone be able to recommend an alternative way of booking?

I do prefer to book direct, but it's becoming a headache already.

Trip.com seems to be able to book Air Astana at similar prices compared to booking direct.

In any case, there is plenty of competition. Flying SCAT costs less than Air Astana and the only difference is that you don't get an inedible sandwich. Fly Arystan may also be an option (but they're no longer cheap if you have checked luggage).
