Karakol (KG) to Almaty via Charyn : where to overnight

Hello,
we're planning a trip in the region.

I've considered that doing Karakol (KG) to Almaty in a single day it's a quite long drive (including the border crossing) to have enough time for a proper visit to the Charyn Canyon.

Is there any overnight option in the canyon area ? I wasn't able to find anything....

Oops... so this is reason I wasn't able to find an accomodation....

So the only way to overnight is camping now?
