Tien Shen Observatory near Almaty

Hello. Im in Almaty. I heard that it may be possible to stay overnight at the observatory but havent been able to contact them. Has anyone been there recently or gave any info re this or if road access is possible? Thx

Road access should be possible once again after mud slide danger of last few weeks, but I am not sure if the possibility of staying over still exists. I know it used to be in the LP but don't have any contacts either, sorry. I have never heard of anyone actually staying over (does not mean that it doesn't happen, just don't know about it).
