I read somewhere vaping has been banned in Kazakhstan in last few months (and the other stans?).
I have a (non disposible) vape (terrible habit I know, but it got me off ciggies).
I know some countries (e.g. India) are very agressive about finding and getting rid of vapes, and some countries don't really care.
Has anyone had experiance of this?
Vaping in central asia
Re: Vaping in central asia
Interesting topic!
It's banned for now in
Kazakhstan: https://www.uzdaily.com/en/post/90296/
Turkmenistan: https://akipress.com/news:712777:Turkme ... s_-_media/
Kyrgyzstan: https://daryo.uz/en/2024/06/27/kyrgyzst ... usts-fines
It is not yet banned in Uzbekistan: https://timesca.com/uzbekistan-proposes ... igarettes/
Tajikistan no rules either yet it seems.
Something to follow up on. I remember Thailand tried to ban smoking years ago but big tobacco companies sued them under WTO and they had to cave in. Could see this happening here again.

Re: Vaping in central asia
yes, saw those articles on it being banned, but in 'Stans rules are one thing, enforcement another!
(I was in Nicaragua where they are also banned, I mentioned this and the locals laughed! However many Asian contries enforce it like no ones business!)
I know I should probably use as excuse to stop but more likely after a couple of weeks will go back to smoking and don't really want to go down that road!
