from astana airport to train station

Hello. Sunday the 8th of october evening we will arrive to Astana Int Airport. Arrival time is 21:35. We plan to take the night train departing 23:50 to Shymkent from station Astana Nourly Zholy. Do you think that we can make it, if we will hace tickets already purchased? How long does the trip from airport to train station take? Is the best option to take taxi? (we will be group of four people) how much should it cost? Will be there any big queues on the airport? We are from Slovakia, so we have visa free regime...thanks for your answers...

Let's say you get out of the airport at 22.30 if your flight is on time. That leaves you 1h20 min to get to the train station. It's a 30 min drive. Definitely take a taxi. Not sure about the price. 4000 tenge?

In short, if the flight is on time you should be able to make it.

We are planning the same, getting there at 21:35, and departing from Astana-1 at 23:35.
How much the taxi fare to the train station from the airport? To be able to bargain with the drivers.
plan b: Take the bus 10/12, will we have enough time to make it to the train station?

I'd take a taxi to be sure, it can't be too expensive. Just start really low and don't go with the first person you meet to be in a strong bargaining position.

FYI, there's a bus, No. 100, but it runs only until 22.15/22.50 (info taken from the bus station info panel, sadly the text beneath the * that had been put between the two timings, undoubtedly to explain the difference in timings, was in Kazakh or Russian only, and I don't read either). Frequency unknown but I suspect not very high.
