Tent in Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan

Hello!
I would like to know if I can set up a tent anywhere in Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan. Is it legal? Or are there some places where is it forbidden? Or is it allowed only in camps?

Both are countries where you can pitch a tent almost anywhere you please, keeping in mind the usual common-sense worries about safety and private property.
