I know this topic has probably been discussed thoroughly, but my question is: I have the option of flying Dushanbe - Bishkek (via Almaty) with Air Astana, or flying Dushanbe - Almaty and then by road to Bishkek (would be much cheaper).
Is it worth it? How easy and fast is it to get from Almaty to Bishkek? And where do busses evt. cars leave from in Almaty? And is it as it usually is, easier to leave in the morning? How long does it take?
