Left luggage at Almaty/Astana train station

Does anyone know if there's a left luggage facility at the Almaty/Astana train station? We will be leaving our hotel in Astana and sight see for the day before we get the sleeper train to Almaty. As we will be arriving on the sleeper train into Almaty in the morning, we want to leave our luggage for the day whilst we sight see in Almaty.
