Train travel to and from Semey, East Kazakhstan

I want to travel train (or bus) between East Kaz to either Almaty or Astana, from where I want to travel by air to leave the country. Or, when coming in, travel by bus or train from Astana or Almaty to East Kazakhstan.

I have attempted to get info on Kazakhstan websites, but they are not language friendly for those from outside the Russian Kazakhstan region. So, I cannot navigate their sites.

If anyone has credible information on how what trains travel from the east to those two cities, it would be greatly appreciate.
