I am Danial from Pakistan. I am interested in moving to Kazakhstan and getting Permanent Residence. I read that one can get Permanent Residence if he purchase/rent property with a contract of at least 12 months and fulfills solvency requirement by depositing 8500 USD in local Bank. Is it true or am I missing something? Kindly reply to me.

Thank you for your reply. I want to know about J2 Visa (Permanent Residence Visa). I read that it is a Permanent Residence Visa which can be applied from outside Kazakhstan or within Kazakhstan if person holds Private Visa. Do you know any person/Agent who deals in J2 or Private Visa. I am interested in coming to Kazakhstan.

I'm married to a Russian with Kazakh Passport and we both live in Dubai. We've been married for over 3 years and I have traveled more than 4 times now. I wanted to know if there is any provision to grant a permanent visa for spouses of non-Kazakh. Keeping in mind that we are not planning to live in Kazakhstan. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. There didn't seem to be any info available online for my circumstance.

AFAIK, you need to live in Kazakhstan. The process takes about a year to get a residence permit.

My wife lives in Kazakhstan but I am in kuwait .
One more question, it is possible stay more than 30 days since I am married to a kazakh citizena and the marriage it is registered in kazkahstan?
