Sadly it seems that the National Museum of Kyrgyzstan may never open again, certainly not in the next few years. https://www.occrp.org/en/37-ccblog/ccbl ... -treasures

It's a bizarre story, one that can be added to the previous tribulations of the museum (leaky roof, tens of thousands $ in plastic horses, mismanagement, graft, incompetence, refusal to say what will happen to all the Soviet-era objects, etc...).

So if you are Googling "Is the National Museum of Kyrgyzstan open?" or "When will the National Museum of Kyrgyzstan open?" The answer is 'not in 2021' and 'not for a long time, if ever' seeing as they may have secretly lost most of their exhibits.
