Visit Alay and Sary-Mogol CBT organize the ‘Yaks & horse games’ traditional festival taking place on Saturday 30 July 2016. The venue for this yearly event is the summer camp located on the shore of the Tulpar-kol lake, below the Lenin peak in the Alay range, south Kyrgyzstan.

Activities include folklore music; a handicraft exhibition (wool, rope, horse’s equipment); national horse games (Tyiyn-Enmei, Er-Oodarysh, Kyz-Kuumai, Tai-Kazan) and other national games (Oogantebish, Buka Tartysh, Arkan Tartysh).
