Recommendations for May?

Hi all,

So I am flying into Bishkek on the 9th May. I really hoped to do some trekking but it seems I am arriving to early! Is there any lower level treks to do that people can recommend? Thanks

You can go to Alamedin valley, Ala-Archa, and Issyk-Ata around Bishkek. Around Issyk-Kul you can go to Altyn Arashan but not far beyond before encountering snow, same for all other hiking destinations.

Actually, Arslanbob and around might be a good place for a hike, lower altitude there and very lovely in spring, the forest. Also not so many people in the homestays.
