enter Azerbaijan with motorcycle

hey everyone

I am planning to cross from Georgia to Azerbaijan by motorcycle in the next month.

as I know the border is close but there are 2 ways to do it:
1. get a special permit to cross the border as a tourist
2. shipping the motorcycle by truck, fly in and get the bike free from the custom office in Baku

does anyone have done something like that or have details about one of the options?

We have shipped the motorcycles from Georgia to Aktau.
We are currently wait in Aktau for them.
Hope they will get here soon and then I could recommend the company we worked with.

Hope you are fine in Aktau and maybe got you bikes back already.
So you skipped Azerbaïdjan and did it directly to Kazakhstan? How did you do it and what is the amount to expect to pay? Did you and the bikes go by air?
