we - small family of three - will travel from Germany to Uzbekistan in Jan and Feb 2023. We will come down via Turkey, Kars, and Georgia, entering in Batumi and leaving Tbilisi with SCAT-Airlines to Aktau. From Tbilisi we think about doing a short trip down to Yerevan. Now I am wondering, if it*s possible to rent a car in Yerevan and do a day trip to Chor Virap, Garni and Geghard. Is that makeable in one day in winter? Is it possible to drive with an own rental car? Or do I have to rely on a tour? Should I plan one day for all three sights or do I need minimum two days?
Another day will be reserved for Yerevan alone.
