Yerevan to Tbilisi Marshrutka info!

Hi

This might have been asked in the passed but would really appreciate some help with is.

This November I will be going to Armenia and Georgia.
Need a little help with the Marshrutka going from Yerevan to Tbilisi.
I know they go from Yerevan bus station but need the following information....
What time dose the first service leave? How frequent are they after that? What time does the last one leave?
Ideally I want to be on the first one!
Can you also purchase tickets the day before you travel?

The night train is an interesting option, in a retro sort of way. Like it's 1985 and you're back in the Soviet Union.

Regardless, don't miss the Yerevan Train Station.

There is no schedule and there are no tickets, you pay to the driver. If you want to leave early, be there at around 8 AM. However, I'd recommend the night train as well: more comfortable, more time-effective and, if you go for 3rd class, cheaper.

I did look into train but it’s not possible with what I have planned.

Marshrutka it is, just hope the driver is ok with me bringing a not massive but large case!

I’ll be in Armenia for the first week of November (need to be back in Tbilisi on evening of 7th Nov for a flight). Am looking for travelling buddies, maybe hire a car for a few days. Will you be around in first week of Nov and interested in doing some touring?

As of Nov. 2021 the last departure of a Marshrut was about 3 pm. The last share-taxi from near the train-station leaves at 5 pm.

But as previously mentioned the night train (now all new) is much more comfy.
