Luggage Storage at Tashkent Railway Station

Hi

Is it possible to store luggage ( one suitcase ) at Tashkent Railway Station for about a week? I plan to store my bag there and travel to Samarkand with only my essentials.

Any help would be appreciated

There’s definitely luggage storage there. It’s underground kind of behind the snack food vendors, not in any of the buildings. It took me a while to find (since there are signs inside the main waiting hall pointing to luggage storage). I only stored it for a few hours though. They looked at my train ticket to see when I was departing. I don’t know about storing it for a week though. They didn’t speak English.

You won't be able to store it for a week. You need to ask a hotel.

Hi, so I am back from my trip and i checked this at Tashkent. You can store the bags for any amount of time at the luggage room at the station, and the prices are fixed at 4000 soms per bag per day. The price does not depend on the size or weight of the bag. You need to pay the full amount in advance.

Was this at the fast train station (Stantsiya Tashkent Pass Tsentr) or the normal station?

We will arrive from Samarkand to Tashkent with Afrosiab (Bullet Train).... will we arrive in Stantsiya Tashkent Pass Tsentr ???

In this train Station... can we find luggage storage ?
Where is it exactly located ?

You will arrive at Tashkent Central station, which has luggage storage.

It's a bit confusing, there are just two stations but they have many names.

Tashkent Central = Tashkent Pass Tsentr (Russian) = Toskent markaziy vokzal (Uzbek) handles all international trains, all Afrosiyob trains and a few domestic non-high speed trains. To add confusion, this station is sometimes also called North station (Severniy vokzal in Russian, Shimoliy vokzal in Uzbek). It's all the same. This station is next to the metro station "Toshkent".

Tashkent South = Tashkent Južnyj/Yuzhnyy vokzal (Russian) = Toshkent Janubiy vokzal (Uzbek) handles most non-high speed domestic trains.
