Khiva -> Bukhara: Morning Flight vs. Drive with Khorezm tour

Hi all -

Hope you can help me with the following dilemma:

- On Sunday, October 6th, I can leave Khiva (after 1.5 full days there) at 7 AM and take a tour of 3-4 fortresses in Khorezm, and arriving in Bukhara around 5 PM – all in a private car. This option allows me to visit the fortresses, but it's more tiring and takes almost the entire day.

- The other option is to take a flight from Urgench to Bukhara on the same Sunday from 8 AM to 9 AM. This option gives me an extra day in Bukhara (in addition to 1.5 days already scheduled there), and it's less exhausting (due to avoiding the long drive), but I wouldn't visit the fortresses.

What would you do? As context, I am also spending 2 days in Samarkand, 2 days in Tashkent and ~4 days in Tajikistan.

See the fortresses. They're unique. Bukhara & Samarkand have a lot of similarities.
