Don't know if anyone will be able to take advantage of this, but it seems like Uzbekistan Airways is flying once weekly (Mondays) from Nukus to Muynak
Flight schedule as follows:
HY 31 Nukus - Muynak 0945/1045
This might be handy for someone who wants to do a day trip to Muynaq, since the minibuses leave Nukus at 9 and takes 3 hours (if I recall correctly), so with the flight you would get some extra time in Muynaq before you catch the bus back to Nukus. On the map, the airport doesn't seem to be to far away.
Flight operates on 19/9, 26/9, 3/10, 10/10, etc and costs 5 USD.
Hope this is useful to someone! Would be exciting to hear about it if someone did it.
Cheers

Flight Report NCU-MOK
The flight now runs on Saturdays at the times mentioned in the OP post.
The service is an extension of a Tashkent-Nukus flight, so you're getting a fairly large plane for such a short flight (3-3 configuration with 2-2 business class).
Boarding in Nukus starts at 09:05, so getting to the airport an hour before the 09:45 should be more than sufficient.
Check-in is done at the regular check-in counter, you can pre-book checked luggage for an additional dollar, didn't ask about the airport price.
Shortly before boarding you'll be ushered through a lax security check (passport needed!) and you can wait for a bit in the departure area, toilets available before and after security.
Boarding is done using buses, your boarding pass features a seat but in reality the flight is free seating, everybody was able to get a window seat if they desired.
Before take-off you'll be served a complementary beverage to enjoy while watching the Uzbekistan Airways safety instruction video in Uzbek and English. This process does take longer than the actual flight, which is done at low altitude, so the window seats are actually worth it.
Arrival in Moynak/Moynaq/Muynak/Muynaq/MOK is quick and easy, you'll be ushered onto Amir Temur street straight from the tarmac.
You may ask use the toilet in the departure area of the airport since the seatbelt sign remained on during the entire flight.
There are some taxi drivers awaiting you at the airport gate, but you can easily just walk to the main attractions of Muynak, plus there is one damas route (aptly called "1") running up and down the main street during the day.
If you desire to return by bus on the same day, make sure to be there about 14:20 because the bus may leave shortly before 15:00 and there is limited space, if you don't reserve a seat you'll have to stand for the entire 3 hours back to Nukus.

Re: Flight from Nukus to Muynaq
Don't most (all?) Uzbek Airways flights serve drinks prior to departure (instead of during the flight)? At least it seemed that way based on the 3 domestic flights that I was on back in 2019. Seemed like it was just pure laziness of the crew so that they didn't have to do anything during the flight.

This sounds so interesting, especially the cost is really usd5? Probably the cheapest flight I have ever heard.
Anyone know it is a regular flight or just a chartered flight for a limited time?

Re: Flight from Nukus to Muynaq
I can't find any availability with Uzbekistan Airlines at all anymore between Nukus and Muynaq. I think this service may have stopped.
But a recent post in this forum reports that Silkavia now flies round trips between Nukus and Muynaq:

Their website says they currently fly on Sunday, Monday and Friday.
