mubinjon has died in april 2020.

almost every time i was in bukhara i have visited him.
only once, in august 2019 no one could open his doors (probably mabinjon was really ill, maybe in hospital? yet already in 2017 he was taking a sort of medical injections).
he was really interesting person.
he deserved my special attention, as his mother had helped an exiled and persecuted polish family during stalin regime (they lived some months at the mobinjon's mother house).

Thank you for sharing, mazeno. A beautiful life story, I did not know about Mubinjon. What is the name of his guesthouse? Maybe I did visit it once.

i know it just as mobinjon's guest house (actually: homestay), here (with the tree in the courtyard):

the main gate from the street is white steel gate painted with olympic pictograms (you can see a photo in the article cited above) but it was usually closed. the used entrance is in a long narrow corridor on the left of the gate ended with small wooden doors.
probably his daughter will keep the place, but i'm not sure if as a guest house as she operates her own guest house nearby.

Beautiful place, I don't immediately recognize it. Must visit next time.
