Tashkent for foodies
Re: Tashkent for foodies
I made this thread to post about the Chinaz bazaar (Gmaps), 65 km south of Tashkent on the road to Samarkand. They are famous for their fish, so you can try that out if you are passing by.

Some Tashkent restaurant tips from the Vegetarian in Uzbekistan thread:
The Host (Gmaps): Indian food. One person liked the chana masala (chick pea curry), bread and rice. Another person called it the worst Indian restaurant they visited.
Sunduk / Syndyk (Gmaps): This one gets good reviews allround.
Afsona (Gmaps) - at least one good vegetarian review.
