Visa-free status_entering more than once

I am from a (EU) country and can enter Uzbekistan visa-free for 30 days. I plan on exiting and re-entering during that 30 day period. The foreign office advice seems to state that the visa-free status is only single entry, and that I would need to apply for a visa to do that. However, when I try to apply for a double-entry E-visa to be safe, I am told that my country has visa-free status and I cannot proceed. Can anyone confirm that I can exit and enter the country on visa-free status? I have searched the forum but its still not very clear to me. Thanks.

I can confirm. Re-entered UZ yesterday after 10 days in Almaty without any problem
